I use esnipe.com. Their fees are dirt cheap. They offer a 10 day free trial up to 30 bids. The only time I loose is when another bidder had an automatic bid or snipe bid higher than what I was willing to pay.

I use Myibidder for ebay, which is an Android phone app. Totally free and simple to use. I've never used it on my computer, just on my phone. I've won a couple and lost a couple, but only when I've legitimately been outbid.
