Found this while searching CL, not mine. It's a rarer Blaemire kit as it was built with Blaemire lugs. I've only seen one other kit like this.
Original Blaemire kit in Vermont
Blaemire / Jenkins-Martin drums.

I already got mine, or I'd be all over this one! I'd want to add reso heads all around though. I'm not a big fan of concert toms and headless reso bass drums. It's a kit that reflects the concert tom fad of the mid-70's. A 'stylistic' time capsule. Nice set of drums. I hope someone here snags them. Nothing else sounds like Blaemires.
John
Looks like black paint on inner shell.
FYI
That stuff gets into the grain and is difficult to remove all of it, just in case someone wants to do a clear FG finish on that kit.
I know because I did it to my kit. The painting black thing that is.
Gallons of laquer thinner later, I got most of it out.
Really likes to go inside the lug holes too,..and wants to stay.
GREAT KIT FOR THAT BLAINE SOUND.

Thanks to Mr. Jerry Jenkins
Those lugs look like Premier speed boat lugs from the good ol days...Never played Blaimere drums??
I should have kept John's set for myself! grrrr!
