I'm guessing this one doesn't end in the garage or basement.. Mind Blowi
OMG!! Life is good for 14" floor toms!

It's nice, but I don't understand what's making that drum particularly valuable. Do you?
Gretsch stuff is really going crazy right now. Anything that can relate to a Gretsch "jazz" sized drum kit is off the wall! And that is a very nice-looking drum.

I guess it's just, "That Great GRETSCH Sound"Walking of the Progressive Jazz Set... 4x14.. 8x12.. 14x14.. 14x18..

Ah yes - Nice ! But how long will it take for the winner to actually receive the item ? I can't even get an email reply out of Cherrie. I dig the looks of my Vintage (all birch shell) Tama Superstar 14X14" (super maple finish) FT as much as this gretch and it sounds pretty damn awesome.
I'm betting if you showed up with $1200 for a floor tom she would talk to you... but who knows.
My little story.. I had been waiting months and months and months for a clam shell bottom bar from Jim Petty.. just this morning I'm walking the dog and my cell phones rings... It's Jim Petty.. the bottom bar is at the platers.. and bonus he's got some nice new push buttons in for my Slingy floor tom.. he called because he had a note I was looking for some.. so budda-bing-budda-boom.. I thought he had forgotten all about me and here he calls me from TX with a part I have been hoping to find...
Maybe something good will pop in the inbox when you least expect it.

CW always has the nicest vintage gear you would ever hope to see anywhere. 1200 is kind of average in Rogers or Gretsch 14x14 Floor toms. The high was a Rogers a few months ago that went for 1475.00. On the other end of the spectrum is luck...... my 14x14 Rogers Dayton flat gray, in Sparkling Blue Pearl was bought for 300.00.
