I've found somewhere on the internet a cheap Paiste 101, probably from the 80ies. How do you think this would sound? I'm looking for a nice vintage jazz sound, so I'm not looking for a 'pling pling' cymbal.

if you want a nice vintage jazz sound, i'd recommend a nice vintage cymbal. my guess is a paiste 101 is not what your looking for. if you're looking for a specific sound, you should not buy a cymbal online. this should be obvious, but you have to hear it to know what it sounds like.
