They're probably too small for a wood hoop...but maybe not?
Also concerned they may not be as stable as superclassic's brilliant DW/Luddy contraption.

Would be worth a try. I couldn't imagine that attachment being too terribly expensive. Probably even cheaper than the DW claw.
