Odd Keystone Acrolite

Loading...

I picked this up on a long distance CL buy and had a hunch this was something different but wasn't shure until I got it in the mail. All of the parts are original, it has 10 lugs and COB top and bottom hoops.

Any info would be appreciated......thanks

very nice find! they weren't ever cataloged. some 6.5 10 lug models were made for the nyc school system. ive got a 5" 10 lug like yours that a dealer special ordered for a customer. enjoy that one!

An 'Acrophonic', or a 'Supralite' whichever you want to call it, it's a really cool drum. Keeper!

John

Too many great drums to list here!

Welcome to the forum. Very interesting drum for your first post.

Can you confirm the serial number as 173551? I keep track of such things to try to discern what I can about vintage drums.

Thanks. Rick

Mike,

Thanks. I have several of your Ludwig oddities recorded.

Rick

EDIT: I had a picture of your 10 lug (bowtie) Acro shelled drum, but not the serial number, so thanks for filling in that hole.
