Absolutely all wood sticks......I play heavy rock and use Pro Mark "Oak" 2B.....I gave up on the nylon tips many moons ago...........they ruin skins and mark up cymbals pretty badly, in my opinion.......

I prefer the sound and feel of wood.

I have always used Regal Tip Nylon either "Jazz" or "5A" for the same reason as everyone else...they sound great on the cymbals. So, one day in the music store I decided to try my size in wood tip. What I found was that they DID sound different on the cymbals but also the cut was slightly more robust at the taper: the nylon tips being more slender had more bounce and played easier. I ended up giving them, the wood tips, to one of my students.
