....oh - and a necessary general comment and much deserved respect.....

They sure knew how to put on a show!

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!

Thanks for that. WOW.

Always loved Ian Paice.

Saw them at the Forum back in the day.

"Child in time" live blew me away.

I think I was 16.

I`m in the same time period as Deep Purple when they first started and i studied Ian the best i could.I`m only half lefty and Ian is full lefty which i always admired. As for the energy and endurance... that comes from the heart of the music that produces the drive. Long live Deep Purple songs for they are of the heart and soul...

Purple in their prime!! A great show. Got it on disc. If you see them now on his solo Ian Paice does a roll with one stick. So cool.

IMO the greatest rock and roll band of all time, always put on a great show and the very top of the heap as musicians simply awesome I have seen them many times they opened for Cream in their first US concert and I was lucky to be there and they blew me away... and they are still not in the rock and roll hall of Shame...... wow!
