From Powertone

Okay, who bought this at $1025?

Unbelievable! I'm sure lots of prospective bidders kicking themselves for not hitting the BIN button for $800!!

Now we will see these with BIN of $1500.00. I wonder if these will start surfacing given the price of this auction.

I bid up to $1k. I had my son on me in Target so could raise the bid. Oh well! Always more drums. I am willing to bet it would have been a bid war to 1.5 k. To that end I would rather buy another kit.

I think the $800 BIN was about right. I can see going to $1000 to own a "new in box" Powertone if that fits in with your collecting goals. However, when all is said and done, it is still a BDP Powertone with a very expensive box! Now if it had been a green sparkle Powertone, might have been a whole other story.

Yeah I should have bought it at $800. Oh well US GDP has been projected down again. I promise you more rare birds will show up.

Sold so matters not. Flag I see is snare wires in pic two not Rogers. Pic three it's a Rogers snare wire. That is a killer drum. Buyer will be happy.

Details aside,

Creighton

Nothing special here but I like them.

Any color other than BDP might have sold for more, and would surely have been gone at the BIN

I would have hit the BIN if it was a different color.
