Just got back from seeing Noel play tonight in Detroit (Royal Oak for fellow Michiganders). Has anyone seen this tour or previous? I really love his music. His band seems very tight. Some songs the drummer almost seemed overly tight. Does that make sense? Like it is so tight that it almost loses all or any kind of groove/feel. Any one familiar with him or seen the show? Just curious of other opinions. I still think he's a great drummer from other times I've seen him play on internet videos. Maybe this is what Noel is going for?
