Noble & Cooley/Zildjian 380th Anniversary 4-3/4" x 14" limited edition Cast Bronze 8-lug snare drum. Designed by Bob Gatzen, the drum features the one-piece "Groove Tone" shell, with the staggered nodal mounted lug system which decreases and equalizes pressure placed against the shell structure.

The drum is fitted with Noble & Cooley solid brass low mass nodal mounted lugs, triple flanged hoops, Noble & Cooley solid brass, off-axis snare strainer and butt end, black w/brass badge, original logo 380th Anniversary Evans heads and Puresound 20 strand snare wires.

This drum was special ordered without the standard black chrome plating, the lugs, strainer, and butt end are chrome over solid brass, the hoops are chrome over steel. I verified the plating method with Jay Jones, owner of Noble & Cooley. The drum comes in the original box with a "Certificate of Authenticity", it is stamped "03 103" inside the shell signifying year of manufacture and 130 out of 500 drums produced.

The original owner wrote his name and birth date on the inside of the shell in black marker for security purposes,

He's a professional working drummer, has a gold record and a Grammy from a Broadway show gig back in the 1970's.

Rarely played, shell is in excellent condition with very minor plating wear on a couple of lugs and the top hoop shows minor copper-reddish tarnish.
