Just picked up this 6.5x14 Powertone snare drum. She's definitely a beauty.
Everything on her looks original with the exception of the resonant hoop. Cool history on this drum. Originally made the the US Navy, she has a clear (natural) interior with a USN stamp burned in. Story goes, she belonged to Mickey Hart (of Grateful Dead) at some point.. but haven't confirmed that yet. Enjoy the pix!

Needs the longer arm on the throw off. An easy swapperuni with the turn of a screwdriver. They made them interchange-able. It's a BDP Navy Rogers tank.
