New to me kit Last viewed: 2 hours ago

I sold my last really nice progressive jazz kit a few moons back to buy my Camco bop kit. I even sold one of my nice 12 14 18 kits recently. Anyway I made up for it with a few other kits and now thanks to Kevin two progressive jazz kits. Here is the one I am very excited about.

The other is a satin flame kit which is more a high player grade but still very nice and my favorite era. Seems like you sell one and you end up buying two more.

Good choice with that one, and a good price too. I was tempted, but couldn't justify it considering I have a great deal more than I need already.

By the way, the Rogers kit worked out very nicely. As you had said, too bad about the wrap on the floor tom, but for a shed kit it is just great.

Dan,

Wow looks great! Plus from the shed no one knows about the floor tom wrap issue. That kit sounded great.

Envious on that RB kit, was also eyeballing that one but have been in more of a purging mode myself lately. Nice score! :)

Found it!!

I love the white satin flame kit Manny. I was tempted by one roundbadgedude had a couple of months ago, but somehow resisted. The hardware sort of gets to me after using Swiv-o-matic for so long, but the kit itself is gorgeous.

That is the first Gretsch kit I ever noticed on the floor of the shop I took lessons at in downtown Haverhill, MA - not far from the Fleet Street pet shop and H. R. Sawyer's Schwinn bike shop for guys who may remember that neighborhood. It was destroyed by urban renewal and for years contained a parking garage that could not be used as it was structurally unsound from day one. What did that song say? My City was Gone? Ah, the memories!

The standards are very cool too. Very bright wrap that look like new.

There was a Ludwig Standard bop kit I regret passing on a few years ago on ebay. Sold at a nice price too. Nice collection Manny.

Manny, I still think you would be wise with at least one newer bop kit in your collection.

How about my Gretsch 57s in the coveted powder blue. Near mint with killer matching snare. 1 of 125 made. 30 degree edges. Super sweeet :)
