New to forum... looking for some advice.

Hi guys,

Like I said, I'm new here. I registered because this looks like it might be the place to get some advice on a kit I'm thinking of selling.

I've had these drums since I was a teenager (long time ago!) Haven't been able to play it for 20 years so it has been in a cupboard all this time.

Thought it might be time to let someone else enjoy it... that's if it's worth selling!

... and that's why I'm here. I've got no idea of it's value. Hoping you guys might be able to help me out.

I've only taken the snare out, given it a wipe down and photographed it.

From memory the other two drums (Kick & single tom) are in a similar condition (I'll post more pics as I take them)

The other hardware (Highhat, bass pedal, stands etc) are in need of some work. I think the kit was made in the 50/60s so it's getting on a bit!

Wow, that's amazing. My first kit was an Autocrat in some really psychedelic finish. Great sounding drums....but metric heads on the 12" tom so I could only use Everplay Extra heads on that drum.

Hi funkenline and welcome to vdf. with out getting in huge details i think your snare is worth around 350 on the low end and on the high 500 .the sale of your drum is going to be what one is willing to pay. as well i think the sale of vintage drums tap out for now and its more of a buyers market good luck with your snare im sure she aint going to be a hard sell .

Great link vintagemore2000, interesting to see the catalogue!

I'll carry on cleaning up the other parts of the kit ...then put it on ebay. See what happens.
