New old drums again Last viewed: 9 hours ago

Couldn't pass these stainless steel concert toms up.

(Note the kick & floor tom with the Mach lugs... that's Jerry Jenkins' old kit.)

Vik Foxx was the original owner, and I just bought them from him. Three hercules stands were included (two shown here) and as you can see, the toms are in amazing shape for being over 35 years old!

So now I have Ludwig wood, Vistalite, stainless steel, and Slingerland cutaway concert tom sets. What should I get next? Hey, Jerry...

LOL - I'm getting ready to sell off everything that isn't nailed down so I can stuff Jerry's pockets with Benjamin's at the Chicago show. Car Driving2

You going that week-end, or do you have to work? I'll meet you at Jerry's booth and we can both leave our piggy-banks behind in exchange for some of Jerry's new Blaemires. I'm hoping Jerry kills with the new drums.

I don't want to spoil anything, but my 'guess' would be something to do with H.B.?!!! THAT would just blow people away. I know it would do me in just to see a repro of it. Whatever it is, can't wait to see it.

Boy, wish I had the drums and the pool, mostly the drums. Very nice! You have a Ludwig Educator kit like mine I think. I am planning on going to the Chicago show also, I hope to meet some of you guys.

What size is that floor tom?

It could be the Mach lugs or the magnificent abundance of concert toms playing tricks on me, but that looks to be not your average 16"x16".
