Need Parts for 1960 Slingerland kit Last viewed: 2 hours ago

Hello!

I just purchased a Slingerland 1960s silver sparkle kit and am looking for a few pieces to get it looking cleaner and functioning. The bass drum is an odd size 20x12 and I can't find much online about parts. I am looking for:

1. Cymbal mount - The bass drum (size 20x12) has a hole where there was once some kind of cymbal rod mount. I've seen parts online that would fit two holes, but this bass drum only has one hole

2. Tom rail mount - the piece on the bass drum is intact, but the piece attached to the tom is not. I am looking for the part to connect the tom to the rail on the bass drum

Any ideas or tips are appreciated - I'm not sure of the correct terminology and maybe I'm searching for the wrong thing because I can't seem to find anything online.

Steve Maxwell sells a very nice repop consolette. You can also buy it in parts. Just be aware this is the 2 bolt version (bracket to bass) and some SL used 4 bolt version. Yes some pics of what you have would help.

-the cymbal mount hole on bass drum

-the rail on the bass drum

-the rack tom with missing pieces to connect to bass drum

The bass drum, if not the whole kit, is from the cataloged 2N Jobbing Outfit. See the last slide of this link: http://www.vintagedrumguide.com/slingerland_drumsets_1959.html

Lynn- I think that is definitely it! Those are the right sizes. I also have a 1965 maple slingerland floor tom - same finish - 14x14 with push button legs (one push button needs replacing also - but I found those online easily).

Thanks - I was trying for awhile to identify it!
