Plenty of vintage drum sets like that out there, although it's going to cost you more than $350 to replace them with vintage or new.

What sizes were your drums (most likely 13/16/22 but possibly 12/14/20 or some other combination) ? That would make a difference too as would whether they were classics or Club dates (classics had two separate rows of lugs for each head, Club Dates had double ended lugs in the center).

If you click on the link at the top of the page for vintage drum identification you can get information to help you narrow down just what it is you are looking to recreate. New drums from Ludwig are certainly an option but most likely would cost more than buying a vintage set similar to what you had.

Re-creating your kit shouldn't be too difficult. Just be patient. Also, there are probably many here on this forum who would be happy to help!

If the snare is a Chrome on Brass shell or a BOP wrap wood shell...Well, then yr looking at the $500/$800 range for Just the Snare..

Probably not what you're looking for, exactly, but this would be a quick and easy way to recapture the spirit of the set you once owned. Something to get you going again on drumming until you can figure out exactly what you do want.

I have nothing to do with the seller or the set. Drums in this wrap were originally a limited edition only available through guitar center. The wrap is about as close as you come to oyster blue these days.

You'd be better off finding a vintage kit, which always pop up from time to time, you just have to be patient, that is, if you're really set on getting a kit from that era..Today's Ludwig classic maple or mahogany legacy kits are no different than their vintage counterpart kits regarding shell construction, but only difference is that the hardware is a bit more beefier.. I would also agree with K.O. A reissue Club Date Cavern Club SE is a great choice and reasonably priced.. Some pros and Ludwig endorsers swear by them. It's also the closest you'll get to a current offering in that finish from Ludwig, although they're more reminiscent of the 70's era Ludwig Bowling Ball Oyster Pearl, which is basically Ludwig's 70's version of it's original. (Bowling ball is in reference to the slight difference in the pattern, which looks more like a bowling ball than an oyster pattern..)
