Need Help indentifing these ludwigs

Loading...

I'm looking to buy a new kit or new to me anyways and I came across these Ludwigs. I'm just curious as to the year they were made. These are the only pictures I have of the kit. I can't tell if these are reinforced shells. I'm curious as to what year that these might be, Model, what wood the shells are made, what are they worth ect... the drums sizes are 12 x 9 mounted tom, 16 x 16 floor tom and 22 x 16 bass drum. That's about all the information I have on them. Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you.

Those badges look silver and black to me. If so, that's from the Classic birch series from the late 90's I think.

The badge was first used in 1998 for the Rocker pro series drums which were renamed Classic Birch in 2000. These were 7 ply birch / mahogany shells. I would guess that these are the later birch mahogany series because the gold sparkle was not available as an option on the Rocker Pro series in 1998 but new wrap finishes were added in 2000 when they changed the name. However; I think that these would be early 2000 or late 1999 because Ludwig added theor vibraband mounting system to their kits in 2000 and these drums don't have that.

Got a birch series snare. I use it a lot! Great drum, but aren't all a Ludwig snares?
