Need help identifying this cymbal stand??

Just purchased on ebay for a low price.

The bottom is definitely ludwig

However the top part and tilter are foreign to me?

Can anyone tell me what I have for the top part?

Is the top even ludwig?

That's a very typical Slingerland tilter, except for the big black plastic knob there I just noticed.

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!

That is a Slingerland top for sure. I have seen the Buddy Rich stands with the plastic knobs. The first time I saw one on Ebay it said those famous words "all original" and I thought to myself, "yah right" but I've seen them a few more times since then which makes me believe that maybe they did use the plastic knobs at some point. When? I do not know. I could still be wrong about the knobs but the 2 top pieces and tilter are definitely Slingerland.

this particular Slingerland stand was only made for one year 1973. They aren't particularly collectible more than the previous years just cool info for you. I have a bunch of them myself just like the one years date.
