Need Help identifying ludwig black panther set?

From Jwags

Peeled back cortex and discovered orange yellow sparkly underneath 2 of the drums. The big kicker one 23w14 1/2. I think Has yellow sparkle under black vinyl. Under that is beautiful deep orange natural wood glossed over horizontal grain, Has leedy lugs from the 30s or 50s? Chrome over brass clips... remo weather king pad with pinstripe.... the other drum 16w16 or 16x15 idk how to measure... has orange sparkle but different than the base drum the are more fleks not circles under black panther, with pearl or slingerland lugs...

It maybe a citrus mod wrap you're seeing, Ludwig did wrap over shells with black panther that originally had cirus mod wrap.

Your drummers not much good is he!? What you need is someone that's as good as me. ! John Henry Bonham !!

Still to get us to help we need to see pealed back portion of drum wrap you mite have a gold mine under those hides

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

I can see the photos you put on Google. What I think I see includes

Two Ludwig Blue Olive era badges but I don't know which drums they belong to

Concert toms (heads on just one end) which have Ludwig Classic lugs. They are painted (?) or otherwise covered in black but not necessarily Black Panther covering

One concert tom which is painted black (?) and doesn't have Ludwig Classic lugs

A bass drum which is probably not Ludwig (different lugs) and/or is not from the same era

A floor tom I don't get a good enough view of to say much
Others will have more familiarity with the exact look of Black Panther, and I'll wait on them. Black Panther has a specific grain structure

which I don't see in any of your pictures. But that may just be the quality of the images. The one I've posted comes from this long ramble about Black Panther: http://www.vintagedrumforum.com/showthread.php?t=11641&page=16

As jaghog mentioned we need to see a close up in focus detailed picture of whatever area is peeled back. In an attempt to bring order to chaos, how about you make a separate post in this thread for each individual drum? Give the dimensions, show the badge (if any), show the lugs, show the finish, and possibly show the inside of the drum to help with the identification. Each drum should have its own set of photos, and however you manage it we need to be able to know which photo relates to which drum rather than just point us to a single google gallery with 20 images in it.

On a more optimistic note, I once bought an 80s Ludwig kit where the snare drum had been painted black to match the rest of the kit. But when I received it the snare turned out to be a 1963 Jazz Festival which had been painted black. I removed the black paint and underneath was a pristine White Marine Pearl wrap. It had not yellowed because it had not been in the light for decades. So there is some hope that whatever finish may be under one or two of those drums it might be in pristine condition. If it is one of the highly collectable finishes then you would get a bit more money for the drum. Not a gold mine, but a nice bonus. For Ludwig Drums Citrus Mod is one such collectable finish, and it is known to be found lurking under Black Panther although how often that happens (1 in 50 Black Panther drums? 1 in 100? 1 in 1000?) I have no idea.
