Mystery Drum - Help!

Loading...

Hi,

I recently came across this snare drum and was wondering if anyone could let me know what it is/the year. My first thought was Sonor but haven't been able to find any drum badges that match the one below. Let me know if you can help!

Thanks

That is a big YES! Good pull..

Its better to have people think you're an idiot, than to open your mouth and prove them wrong, unless you doubt yourself then speak away....

Right!

ToRoDoR drums, made by Pearl in a Chinese factory.

It seems to me that upper hoop is original for this snare and it comes from 60's - it has a closed tension flanges.

But lower hoop probably is not original and I think that it came from 70's - it has simple opened tension flanges.

Maybe I'm wrong but maybe no... :)

Thanks! You guys have been very helpful. Looks like I'm going to have to hunt for a couple of those hoops with the closed tension flanges...
