Hi,
I recently came across this snare drum and was wondering if anyone could let me know what it is/the year. My first thought was Sonor but haven't been able to find any drum badges that match the one below. Let me know if you can help!
Thanks

This is a WILD guess and someone else will probably know. But possibly Torodor which was a made in Japan stencil brand.

That is a big YES! Good pull..
Great, thanks for your help! Any idea what the year might be? 70's??
More than likely 70s but someone here can tell ya based on the drum construction. I however can not
Right!
ToRoDoR drums, made by Pearl in a Chinese factory.
It seems to me that upper hoop is original for this snare and it comes from 60's - it has a closed tension flanges.
But lower hoop probably is not original and I think that it came from 70's - it has simple opened tension flanges.
Maybe I'm wrong but maybe no... :)

Thanks! You guys have been very helpful. Looks like I'm going to have to hunt for a couple of those hoops with the closed tension flanges...
They are not Torodor, they are Coronet drums
goto this link and search down the left hand column and you will find
the exact badge with the crown at the top.
