Hmmm interesting. Maybe the previous owner had the initials RW..??

who knows good call. they are of era and they conform nicely with the tom, but the rw does'nt have any way of attachment other than glue or it had nails made behind the r.w. itself.. wondering if this was an option with rogers at one time?

I think the RW was added be the owner of the drum at onetime...Are you sure the drum is a rogers their are M.I.J copy lugs of rogers lugs..Why i ask the lugs look to be very low on the drum....Mikey

The "R" almost looks like one of the "F-O-R-D" letters found on cars-trucks back in the 60's. Mustangs had them and other models too. If not Ford then some type of automotive letters used on cars-trucks would be my guess. Added by a previous owner as everyone has said.
