Just got my first LM400 from the 70s, with a blue olive badge. It actually sounds better than my pre serial COB...I was surprised! Of course, maybe I just haven't tuned up the COB quite as good...same heads though. They're both staying but I'm impressed!

its a great drum!
Of my 4 snares my Supra and my COB Krupa are my fav's.
For grins try an Evans HD dry on your supra and tune it UP.
Blows me away with every stick stroke.
