You are the proud owner of a Rogers Dyna-Sonic built between 1976 and 79. Is the snare frame present?

Great price either way. More so if the snare frame is with the drum.

The bottom rim isn't original but the drum looks really clean. $130 is a good deal for that snare, congrats.

Thanks to all you guys!

Regrettably, there's no snare frame with the snare.

That was what made me feel a little bit confused about the kind of snare at the first glance... I´m far to be a "R" expert, so I thought it was a Powertone at the beginning.

Then, I realized it could be a "non full-Dyna", but the price and the overall condition push me to close the deal though.

Now, I´ld like to know your thoughts about if it´s convenient to complete the Dyna - acquiring the snare frame (+-$75)- or just leave as it is and enjoy....

Pls let me hear your advices on that point.Help2

ps.: I´m planning to buy another Dyna anyway!!! Laughing H

Thanks as usual!!!!

Proud to be part of this great Forum, with remarkable experts....

Best wishes to all of you!!

Even at +/- $75 for the frame & $40 for a set of Dyna Puresound snare it's still a fair price for a great snare drum. You'll love it. Once it is is set up right it's very accurate like driving a well tuned sports car or drawing with a technical pen.

You will have to get the correct bottom rim if you want to put a snare frame on the drum. That could run you $50-$75, plus the snare wires add another $50.
