My 1st Supra Phonic

Loading...

This is my 1st Supra, just brought it home Monday and after approx 10 hrs of cleaning and polishing, this is how it came out. I think that this addiction is setting in now because I just bought a 66 Acrolite to room with this one. And for the ones wanting a white christmas, I included some snow in the background.

Serial number indicates a 1978-79-ish drum. EXTREMELY nice job on cleaning it up!

Is there any pitting at all?

Very little, you really have to look hard to find any. There are some nicks on the hoops and a few scratches on the shell. Played it today, oh my! Here is another pic.

I love these "my first" posts. There's so much excitement and joy. Man, congrats on a very sweet "first". You did good on that grab.

Nice work. Reminds me of my formerly-owned 1980 model. A great snare, indeed. (Maybe I should've held on to mine.) I bought mine new and sold it two years ago. Used the crap out of it, with plenty, plenty more left in it. It cut like a punch in the eyeball!
