I think some have mounting screws above the muffler tension knob and others below.
Update! It seems I got ahead of myself(again?).Anyway, after a little more research, prompted by the comment from Multijd,I realize there are several different styles of these mufflers.I do not have the drums yet and will have to wait until tomorrow to call the seller to find out exactly what I need.I think there are at least three mounting bolts involved. There is one on eBay with two bolts(one on each side of the knob).my new set may need this style. It appears a bit expensive to me and I need two,but if it is correct,I will probably purchase it.Stay tuned for more info, and thanks for the help.Jim

I may need to be corrected on this reply, the muffler itself is a standard Ludwig muffler, with a stainless plate added to help support the shell to prevent cracking. steve Maxwell has repro mufflers selling for $15.50. you then buy the one muff of ebay remove the plate, it just held together with the mounting bolts, pick up a piece of plate from machine shop and use original plate to copy, cut it out and use a small grinder to clean the edges, polish up your good to go, or have machine shop do it for you.
Have a few of the plates, and possibly a couple mufflers. Please email me at surface.n@maplan.com and I will shoot you some photos.
Thanks
