Please excuse that neither of these are "Vintage" drums, I just wanted to show them off.

I just picked these up today and for the first time in years, I have 3, count them, 3 drum sets! That may seem pretty trivial to a lot of you guys, but anyone who knows me knows I'm usually a one drum set guy.

We have a Ludwig Classic Maple kit in a green sparkle finish. It's in the Downbeat configuration,

8x12,14x14,14x20,5x14.

Next we have a custom Rochefort kit in a gold glass glitter finish. They are out of Nashville, Tennessee. It has 3ply maple/poplar/maple shells with re-rings. They have that vintage vibe.

those Classic Maple kits are fantastic ... I wish I never sold the one I owned

I had one in gold sparkle that was just killer ... 20, 12, 14

that kit had the heart and soul of a vintage drum kit

I wasn't happy with the sizes and let it go ... I regret it

I can't tell you how many times I've regretted letting a kit go. There's always something more appealing and I'll either sell a kit to buy it or trade for it. I keep pictures of most of the kits I've owned over the years and sometimes I'll look at a few and ask myself, why did I let that one get away.

Hey Mike

Yes I did, thought it was a bit high in price, but they are tough to come bye. Still on the fence on it because of the price. What are you seeing them go for?

story of my life ... honestly

every once in a while I'll be scrolling through my phone ... or a folder on my lap top and I'll come across a photo of a beautiful round badge kit I used to have ... or an old Rogers and my heart skips a beat for a second.

a little bit of regret always simmers for a few minutes ... then I push it away

I have no idea what makes me sell things sometimes ... I've always had a sort of binge and purge personality
