Hello, I have the Rogers Silver Sparkle drums from the Johnny Cash movie Walk The Line and I was wondering if anyone might be able to tell me a value of what they might be worth. I have a lot of documentation to prove that this is the set used in the movie. Thanks for any help

Documentation helps.

The Movie aside....a full kit of vintage Rogers silver sparkle in very good condition would fetch anywhere between about $900-1600.

Do you have pics ?

Is it a 4 or 5 piece ?

Am assuming the snare is included. Is the snare wood or metal ?

What are the sizes ?

Are the badges script-logo or Big-R ?

Are there tags inside the shells ? Do they say Cleveland, Dayton, Fullerton, or none of those ?

That's pretty cool that you own that,.. very interesting!

I have to laugh though because the first thing that came to mind when I read the title header was the Letterman show episode where Joaquin Phoenix tells everyone he's now become a rapper! singer DOH

Very sad, there goes that acting career...

Toilet

(You be the judge,... rap superstar or a possible crazed homeless man?)

I remember a silver sparkle Rogers kit in that movie! Can you show us some pics? I seem to remember the older style top-hat double tom mount.
