Gee that makes sense but is there any certain kind of Ludwig to watch for?
I see a 1960s Ludwig 5" Golden Tone Cowbell w/ Mount that looks good up for auction at about $30.00 now.
I saw a Ludwig drum Cowbell Mint New Chrome 4" w/ mount but is really expensive at $128.00.
Is there a big sound differance?

the 5" golden tone is a great cowbell. i'd go with that personally.

I don't know the model number or name of it but the one that is on the Super Classic kit from the 67 catalog. It's copper or bronze color. Like the one that Bonzo used on Good Times Bad Times.
