Wanted-Looking for a Mid 70's 5.5x14 Slingerland 3 ply Artist Mahogany/Poplar/Maple with Maple Reinforcing Rings snare with the clear Maple interior in any Wrap finish-Blue, Red or Silver Sparkle would be great! The Solid Maple Shells from the 60's are the king but I am looking for the 3 ply. Must be in near Mint condition with no cracks on the interior-if that is even possible!!!Slingerland at times would not put enough glue in between the plies and air pockets begin to form and then the inner Maple ply starts to crack-I hate that but it is very common with these shells. Has the football shaped Slingerland Black and Silver Niles, Ill USA Badge. The edges must be in good condition as well hopefully no seperation between the Reinforcing Rings etc...
