Thats REALLY cool, but "drumly" speaking Id settle for a non-woodstock 22/13/16/supra in champagne sparkle for $1000 (ish) instead of $350,000 for that one. Just sayin...

Yea really cool but they should donate them to The Rock Hall here in Cleveland so everybody can see them.
So, if you stick your head in the bass drum can you still hear Carlos?
Unless a museum or Charlie Watts buys them, I don't know who else could afford 350 G's for a drum kit.
It belongs in a museum. Either the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame or, the Smithsonian. It's a piece of American cultural history.

I agree completely.

If i could , i would just because of the history behind them . but at 350 big one's , they are pushing the limit on that one . i'm sure it will sell just because .
one of my favorite drum solos i use to play a version of it just have to love the era my fav time never made it to woodstock but played soul sacrifice in my band wow i was 20 in 69 and played it on a gretch jazz kit about a 67 set if i close my eyes and listen very carefully i can here carlos ending the rift just before the solo i think ill try it in the morning what a moment in time ,great drums ,hope he gets the doe, hope he dont need it and is just selling it to see the market maybe ? oh well cheers to you mike...your a icon
Nice good bit of rock-n-roll drum history.
It would be good if he donated them to a museum......if he doesn't need the money of course. If he does need the money I hope he sells them for huge bucks. There's gotta be some very wealthy collectors out there that would love to have these drums.
Woodstock was just the big one. Just think where else these drums have been! They recorded all that early Santatna stuff, played at places like the Fillmore and also played at Altamont! $350.000 is a lot of money but damn these drums are suoer cool! Talk about history!
