Have any of you heard of this US made series? Apparently Sam Bacco was the man behind these drums. I just found out about them a few days ago.They were made in 93-94 then production stopped and moved to Asia.

Yes my oldest son bought a set of these back then when he still played drums in his band. He sold his Pearl Exports to get them. They were a natural finish and sounded beautiful. I forget what he paid for them as he bought them used from a buddy. But pretty expensive as I remember. I had never heard of Mapex before but they were very nice drums!

You should see what Mapex is offering these days!!...Beautiful gear from entry to pro level. I cant believe i never paid attention to them years ago.Party

Im shocked at how few drummers know about the US Maples line...They must have flown under the radar.
