My condolences.
My father past several years ago. It took quite some time to think about and digest our relationship. Although pretty rocky at times, he gave me my first set of drums, some of which I still have to this day. I also have his Camco bop set which I'm in the process of restoring. I cherish those drums and plan on keeping them in his memory.
I'm glad I took my time to grieve and feel this life changing event prior to making decisions about his belongings. The drums mean a lot to me.
