Lyon & Healy Not On Drum Guide

Loading...

I know there isn't a lot of info out there on Lyon & Healy, which I'm sure explains why there isn't a link for them on the Drum Guide here.

But, I just thought it would be pretty cool to have a section available to view their items that still exist! I just bought a 15x4 from around 1902 (so I'm told), and I am still cleaning it up. It is interesting to see how they put it together.

Anyway, my 2 cents. I would love to see anyone who has one of these drums post a picture or two in this thread.

I have been working on this L&H bass drum for a couple of years now.

It had several coats of paint but when I started stripping WOW. I don't know why these beautiful drums don't get more pub. The inlays are rosewood, Mahogany over gorgeous maple. I have everything but the 2 badges. If anyone has any please let me know. I have yet to spring for 2 30" heads. Could be pricy.
