This is what I hold the Sabian B8 with,..I know what it is but, you got any idea what year it`s from ?? I paid 10$ at a flea market for it back in the late seventies..I think !!

It's the ludwig hercules line! check this one on feebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/70s-era-Ludwig-Hercules-Boom-Cymbal-Stand-/330495480549?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4cf310d2e5 this is just an example not the same year model as yours

Close but no cigar !! That one`s got a totally different boom arm and connection. plus it has different wing nuts at the top. Mine has a ring clamp that grabs the boom arm.

It's hard to nail down exact years on stands, but that Hercules boom stand is from somewhere between 1978-1984
