I need help, is this a vintage drum?

if it is or even if it isn`t how much could it cost?

Ludwig STRIDER, MARCHING snare drum

1. Drum Shell Material – Wood

2. Drum Finish – Black wrap finish

3. Drum Badge – the Blue&Olive Ludwig Badge (the non-pointy one)

the serial on the badge is: 3037265

3. Drum Dimensions -- 10" x 15"

4. Interior Finish – Natural

5. Hardware Configuration -- 8 lugs, Ludwig Snares, Triple Flange Hoops, Classic Ludwig Lugs

6. Strainer Type -- 2 Point, P85 (Black Center)Strainer,

7. defects : some minor scratches on the shell and on the lugs,

extra holes(2 holes) from the belt or support that holds the marching snare drum, minor spots of rust on the snare but side

I forgot to mention I`m not it`s first owner, but I love it, it sounds great!

It sounds like a low-end lightweight marching snare from the 1970s or 1980s. Is it a vintage drum? I suppose that depends on how you define "vintage". It's getting old, but it's not particularly valuable. You can find them on eBay pretty frequently in the sub-$50 range.

Higher-end snare drums of the same era were typically 12" deep, with 12 one-piece lugs. They often had heavier duty snare strainers and synthetic gut cable snares instead of wires. At some point during the 70s or 80s, cast rims became standard issue on the higher-end models.
