Early 1970's Ludwig Standard S300 - 12 14 20 with matching snare. This kit is absolute museum grade condition. The toms and bass were all factory born while the matching snare was added. I also have an aluminum snare if interested. The kit will also include a hardware set. This is truly a catalog kit. $1800 plus shipping from Maryland. I ship worldwide.

I don't usally comment on prices, I mean it's your kit, ask anything you like, but $1,800 plus shipping for a Ludwig Standard? Am I missing something?

I hope they are starting to bring that much, I have about $900 in mine, it's absolutely mint and in a rarer finish.

I missed out on a bop Standard kit a few years ago. Went for $700 or something. And on ebay. I'm kicking myself ever since.

I didn't want to be the first one to mention this! While I certainly agree this is a great kit in wonderful condition, I'm not really sure a Standard kit merits this price. Still, it only take one buyer who might be looking for this and willing to pay for it. We can only see what happens!

Looked through my pictures and found this excellent S-300 that sold on eBay back in March, 2014 for $1499. Wrapped in rare Lemon Strata. Given the included hardware of the OP's offering, he might not be too far off. Still, I think a little "wiggle room" for negotiation is always in order!

I think he can ask whatever he wants. It is his drum set. It is not appropriate to complain about his price in public. Use PMs for that. Thanks, Jerry.
