I sold my 1971 gold mist kit with the chrome snare for $650 and it took a while.So how do you like the way they sound compared to the ROGERS?
There's no comparison, Rogers are the best, working on getting another. There's actually a method to my madness.
That's kind of a lowball, I saw one similar sell on ebay for over $700 and it had out of round shells and scratches, this kit is mint. The kick has ten lugs on each side and yes, they have the same 3ply shells as the Super Classics, not to mention, all tags are present and have a date of April 27, 1971.

Jonny, That`s faded avocado, None of the others had such wide patterns and I still see plenty of green.
Whatever the wrap is called ( & it does look like an oddball batch of something), that's a beautiful set of drums. The bold wrap patterns make them really visible from a distance. Nice score............marko

Well, I just sold the kit for a grand to a friend here in town. I'm going to look at a Rogers wmp kit tonight.
