What makes a Club Date different I thought these 6 luggers were Pioneers?

Club Date kits included a matching Pioneer model snare (or later an acrolite).

The only difference between "club date" drums and other Ludwigs of the era was the center lug set up (Same shells, etc.).

I think the 60 and 62 catalogs had clubdates shown with jazz festivals. 64 catalog showed them with pioneers and to the acrolites in the 67 catalog.
