The white painted interior is accurate, do you remembr if it had 6 or 8 lugs?

Hey David thanks for the post. I got the snare in 1977 or so. I don't see a finish for some reason on those charts. The color was solid aqua and not too dark. I don't remember exactly if it had 6 or 8 lugs but i would venture to say 8. Sorry for my lack of info, i only know that it had the ludwig badge and the interior was white and that all my friends in band had chrome snares while mine was aqua. Thanks for your help. Randall

None of those swatches look familiar at all. The drum didn't look like it had been painted over or anything. I don't know what the story is but i haven't seen a color swatch that resembles it. Thanks again, Randall

My guess then is that it was possibly a faded color..

Most finishes will fade and or change color depending

on light over time.

Or it was not a Ludwig drum...

You would have to find an old photo to know for sure.

I don't know what that color looks like. I was looking at the badge page on here and it looks like my badge was somewhere between 1960 and 63. Don't know, Thanks, Randall
