Does anyone know what this 1930's Ludwig 6x15 snare is and what it might be worth, unfortunately, I only have the one picture.

Mark. this is one wierd drum. it looks to be a 6 1/2x15" Why is the butt end mounted up so high on the shell,? also the top rim is a slingerland stick saver not a ludwig rim.

I haven't a clue, someone in Austin offered me this snare as a partial trade for my Club Date kit.

I'd look this drum very well before you commit to any trade with this drum at all.

Mark, I did some looking at my catalogs, this maybe a 6 1/2x14" pioneer snare drum. the strainer and butt end are mounted high on the shell like the one you've shown
