Hi everyone,

This is my first time on here and I was wondering if anyone has ever come across an older Ludwig snare that has an acrolite shell on the bottom and then a steel shell in the middle and finally a clear vistalite shell at the top? A friend of mine has it with his complete vistalite set and I was wondering what year it would be and what it might be worth?

I'll try to get a pic to post the next time I'm at his house.
