Ludwig Pre-Serial Club Date w/ Jazz Festival VERY CLEAN

Ludwig Pre -Serial Club Date kit with matching Jazz Festival in excellent condition for age.

Sizes are 13,14,22 and 5x14

The floor tom was probably added a few years later as it has an early 5 digit serial.

The only issues to mention are a few scratches on the sides of the bass and some wear on the hoops.

Otherwise, these are in unbelievable condition for a Duco finish kit of this age.

Hoop mount tom arm and disappearing cymbal arm are included.

All drums except snare have original heads and are still in excellent condition.

The floor tom looks black in some pics – is it just the lighting, or is it much darker than the others?

You are correct. The shade is slightly darker on the floor tom. Seems much darker in the photos than in person for some reason.

Crazy offbeat question but is there a manner in which to detect the age of paint so as to determine whether a drum has the original paint or has been re-done? I have no doubt these are in amazingly original condition but I always wondered if so or if it has been done before.

Anyway, the above drums are collector quality. Super nice.
