What year did Ludwig switch from the P83 to the P85 strainer on the Pioneer snares? I checked the catalog pages, but there isn't anything for the 68-69 years. 67 has the P83 and 71 has the P85. I'm trying to determine if my snare has the correct strainer on it. Thanks.

The date on this is Oct 30, 1969, so it could possibly be either. Are the mounting hole spacings the same on the P83 and P85? Or would they both be able to use the same holes?

Cool. Thanks. I'll stick with what's on there - P85, but it might be nice to try out a P83.
