Ludwig Pic Snare help?

Loading...

This drum has been in my room for a while. I tried it out but I don't really like piccolo snares. I noticed it had a keystone badge and I just can't seem to get a straight answer on what it is. I'd like to sell it but I don't know how much to sell it for. If anyone could tell me a year or a make or model or something that would be awesome! I'm posting it here because I'm not sure if it's vintage or not. flowers2

Dante - It's a modern entry-level snare drum from Ludwig. Those piccolo's usually come in 'percussion kits' that include other instruments. You can buy the snare drum for $100 or under depending on condition.

the nice feature on that one as opposed to most of the others, is that it has the Ludwig keystone badge. most of them have the black and white badge. nice looking drum.

just did some studying on this one. it appears that the black white badge models are imports(which they usually are with the exceptions of the black galaxy acrolites). however, this one of yours should be a usa model and is 6 ply.

the black white badge models indeed sell for 100 or less. the last couple like yours that have sold on ebay went for 160-170.

hope this helps..
