So I've been looking at some early 60's Ludwig snares and I was curious if anyone knew the timeline of when Ludwig STOPPED using nickel hardware. I doubt it would be the case (as drum companies seemed to have used whatever they had available until it was gone) but is there a hard cutoff year or atleast a hardeware tranasition period?

it is last shown in the 64 catalog. it is not in the 67 catalog. I do have some 67 drums documented with nickel hardware however.

Thanks Mike! That's what I was seeing from looking through the catalogues as well. Just trying to get some more knowledge for the purpose of spotting non-original parts.
