Ludwig Mounts Last viewed: 1 day ago

I've got two (2) pair of vintage Ludwig mounts. I'm asking $25 per pair plus shipping. The first pair is the older of the two configurations. Both pair come with all mounting hardware. As shown in the pics, the older pair comes with wing nuts, while the second pair comes with hex nuts. I've seen the older pair used as bass drum spur mounts, cymbal L-arm mounts and floor tom leg mounts. I've seen the second configuration used mainly as rack tom mounts and cymbal L-arm mounts. All mounts shine very nicely although as you can see in the pics the original hex nuts and wing nuts show their age and are "cosmetically challenged". If interested in either pair please drop me a PM. THANKS for looking!

I've got a pair of vintage Ludwig P-1672 mounts. I'm asking $25 for the pair plus shipping. These are from the late 50s - early 60s I've been told and feature a wing bolt that screws into the casing. From what I've researched they were used to secure legs on the company's floor toms, as cymbal mounting brackets on bass drums, as mounting brackets for bass drum spurs and as rack tom mounts. The mounts come with all mounting hardware, although the mounting pieces probably are NOT original. The mounts shine very nicely although as you can see in the pics the wing nuts show their age and are "cosmetically challenged". The mounts seen in the pics with the hex nuts have already been sold. If interested in the earlier pair with the wing bolts, please drop me a PM. THANKS for looking![/quote]

nice deal here from a reputable seller. those first generation mounts are getting harder to find,60-mid 65. they are slick looking too.
