Picked up this 24" Kick Drum, these are not the original lugs...my question...are these Ludwig lugs? Thanks...I can get more pics if necessary. Thanks!

Yes they are real Ludwig lugs, can you post a pic of the badge ?

As requested Vintagemore, looks like it was once a rail mount, someone switched out large lugs for the ones now on the drum, you can see the old impressions. The wrap is coming off as well...not sure what I should do with it...Thanks for confirming my suspicion about the lugs. Let me know if you need better pics, I'm not the best photog.

I had not seen this particular design of BD lugs.

I have a set for my 40's project.

They are different. See pic.

Cooper's Drums states that the long Imperial Bass Drum lugs were introduced in 1937.

See pic.

I am not sure if the lugs on your drum are WFL or Ludwig.

I think they are a different brand.

The design is different.

But they "are" very similar.
