Elmer's construction grade. Might want to reinforce the inside of the hoop with a thin strip that extends past the joint by an inch or two both ways to help it from wanting to spread out again. It may work out,...good luck.

Hey Mark ,Ahh, well, whenever I put any heads on I dial it in and then stand on the head and then retune. I saw Michael Bland's tech do this an eon ago and it stuck.Guess what I won't be doing 100% next time?
