Ludwig Hollywoods Last viewed: 1 hour ago

After gleaning some very helpful info on the restoration thread, I wanted to pass along these pictures of my 1968 Hollywood set. They are completely original (except for some heads and the throne), and I purchased them used in 1969 for $350. They are date stamped January 1968.

They are played regularly and used occasionally at gigs. The colors have apparently benefitted from being kept in various basement rec rooms in Wisconsin over the years, away from UV light.

One of the original Weathermaster heads still has the orginal dealer stamp where they were purchased new - "Faust Music, Milwaukee Drum Center, 2204 S. K.K. Ave".

Thanks to everyone on this site for sharing their incredible expertise and kind words.

Very nice! Beautiful greens! It's interesting that your bass drum is 20". The Hollywood kits usually came with a 22".

Sweet!
